What's the attraction with a bunch of jobless guys?

I think my Ex-boy friend is seriously bored. Yes though we break-up, we are still friends, after all we grown-up together. Beginning of last year he met this guy, whom he became close friends with. That began the first "toxic relationship". And as predicted within a short time, that ended.

Shortly after that, he met another group of guys, with the same interest as him. They were just as bad as the first. The first guy was just too narcissistic. This other group is just plain annoying. A group of about 6 guys, spent most of their time playing computer games. Half of them are not even working! He'll spend half the Sunday with them, talking etc....  I was counting the moments till something happen. What's the attraction with a bunch of jobless guys? And why do I even care?
My friends told me he miss me !
